After an early breakfast, we take a private 4WD jeep to go Marpha. We travel about 6 hours in the hills and deep Kaligundaki Valley. After we arrived there we spent our time exploring the Marpha Village.

Marpha to Thini Village 4 hours

We start our trekking after the morning breakfast. We walk along the valley and cross the Kaligundaki River. After some time we climb up to the Monastries and Dhumba lake. We will have lunch at Dhumba Lake and spend a bit of time there. After walking 40 min from Dhumba Lake we arrived at Thini village.

Thini Village to Kagbeni 12 km 7 hours

After the early breakfast, we start our trek to Kagbeni. We follow the trail along the valley with the cold breeze. The trail is easy. We can take the bus if we get tired. After walking long 5 hours we arrived at Kagbeni. Kagbeni is an ancient village that has stood for a long time with historical and religious importance. We spent our leisure time wandering around the village and nearby.

Rest at Kagbeni and visit to the Viewpoint or Tiri village and Monastry 5 km 2 hours

Today is our rest day. However, we take a walk to side trip around the Kagbeni, viewpoint or Tiri village. The Tiri village located boundary of Lower and Upper Mustang also same importance with 800 years old Buddhist monastery. We walked around and spent our afternoon as you were comfortable.

Kagbeni to Muktinath 8 hours

After breakfast in Kagbeni, we start your trek. You'll first reach a village called Khingar and then Jharkot, which are both good places to stop for tea or lunch. After a few hours of trekking, we reach Muktinath. Muktinath is like an oasis. This big village and landmark of this trek. Muktinath is known for its cold springs, ancient fossils, and holy shrine—a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists. In a temple called Jwala Mai nearby, you can view two tiny blue flames that burn incessantly from a hole that also emits water, believed to be burned by God.
